Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in enterprise/operational risk management or audit is preferred.
• Insurance or financial services background is advantageous.
• Familiar with Bank Negara Malaysia regulations for direct general insurers.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to engage multiple audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint is essential.
• Willing to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a robust risk management framework aligned with ERM policies and local expectations.
• Contribute to identification, measurement, management, monitoring and reporting of major risk categories.
• Collaborate with departments to monitor risks and implement appropriate controls.
• Support climate-related initiatives and sustainability efforts as required.
• Lead or roll out ERM training to foster risk culture across the organization.
• Facilitate risk and control assessments and review risk reporting processes.
• Support preparation and collation of risk reports for senior management and board committees.
• Conduct risk assessments for outsourcing, major initiatives, and business development.
