Job summary

Kosmic Technologies in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a senior RF layout engineer to drive layout design for RF modules, LNAs, mixers, PAs and PLL subsystems. You will collaborate with RF designers to optimize performance in submicron CMOS technologies.

The role requires hands-on experience in RF layout from scratch, strong knowledge of analog layout concepts, and proven ability to lead layout reviews and mentor junior engineers toward timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic engineering with VLSI exposure.
• 8–15 years of experience in RF layout design.
• Hands-on RF layout experience from scratch.
• Knowledge of RF layout concepts and submicron CMOS technologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with RF designers to iterate layouts and verify performance.
• Lead digital/analog layout of RF IP blocks, including floorplanning and routing.
• Conduct layout reviews and resolve violations.
• Plan project schedules and guide junior engineers to on-time delivery.
