Job summary

AccountStaff in Malaysia seeks an analytical Revenue Analyst to support revenue tracking, reporting, and optimisation across the business. You will collaborate with finance stakeholders to ensure accurate revenue recognition and identify opportunities for revenue growth.

Responsibilities include monitoring revenue streams, preparing dashboards and reports, performing reconciliations, and aiding budgeting/forecasting. Proficiency in Excel required; SAP S4/HANA and Power BI are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in revenue management, financial reporting, or similar in banking/financial services.
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and financial controls.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; Power BI or data analytics tools advantageous.
• Experience with SAP S4/HANA preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track revenue streams across business lines and ensure accurate recording in the financial system.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports and dashboards for management review.
• Perform revenue reconciliation and investigate variances between actual and forecast figures.
• Support the revenue recognition process in compliance with accounting standards (e.g. IFRS 15).
• Liaise with business development, operations, and finance teams on billing and collections.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting exercises related to revenue.
• Identify revenue leakages and recommend process improvements.
• Support internal and external audit requirements related to revenue reporting.
