Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced Safety and Compliance Lead to formulate annual safety objectives, draft policies, update regulatory standards, and supervise implementation across the plant. The role emphasizes KPI-driven safety performance, audits, and on-site training.

The candidate should bring a Bachelor’s degree in safety or related fields, 10+ years in chemical plant safety, and strong English communication, capable of leading multiple compliance programs including DOSH, CIDB,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• ≥10 years’ experience in chemical plant safety.
• SHO Green Book Holder is a MUST and in valid.
• Strong knowledge of SHE related laws and regulations, HIRARC/JSA, incident RCA, PPE selection, occupational health.
• Good at documentation and AI tools for training poster and videos.
• Good English and strong communication, organization and time management skills.
• Familiar with DOSH legal requirements, P&ID review, general chemical equipment and production unit operation.
• Understanding of chemical, thermal, explosion, pressure and functional safety.

Responsibilities

• Formulate annual work safety objectives and training plans.
• Draft and update safety regulations and policies.
• Identify and update safety laws and standards.
• Optimize safety standardization processes and supervise implementation.
• Assist management with safety KPIs and rules.
• Coordinate safety audits and address nonconformities.
• Lead safety training and incident investigations.
• Manage PPE inventories and on-site inspections.
• Maintain safety facilities inventory.
