Job summary

I Green Engineering SDN. BHD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage tenders, project costing and contract administration for sewerage-related projects in Malaysia.

You will liaise with sub-contractors, clients, consultants and project teams, verify claims and follow up on site progress. A Degree in QS is required and you should speak English and Bahasa fluently. The role demands independent work and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in QS (or equivalent) is required.
• Ability to work independently with good organizational skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential.
• Must be able to speak English and Bahasa.

Responsibilities

• Manage tenders and tender documentation, project costing and contract administration.
• Liaise with sub-contractors, client, consultant and project team.
• Follow up, check and verify claims from sub-contractors.
• Follow-up with project team on progress of work done at site.
• Assist in operation matters on contractual issues and other contracts administration duties related to QS.
