Job summary

Balens Group SDN. BHD. seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost planning, procurement, and commercial execution for interior design & build projects. You will manage budgets, prepare BOQs, and monitor expenditures across pre- and post-contract activities.

The role requires strong site exposure to residential interior design projects, ability to review drawings, value engineering, and close collaboration with Sales, Project Managers, Site Teams and Management to safeguard margins.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential interior design & build, renovation, or construction environments.
• Solid understanding of construction costing, measurement, procurement, and contract administration.
• VO pricing, claims handling, and final account preparation.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Contract & Cost Planning: prepare preliminary estimates and budgets; prepare project quotations; review drawings for cost implications; prepare Bills of Quantities and cost breakdowns; support tender strategy and contractor selection.
