Job summary

Siacon Technology Sdn Bhd in Johor is seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor / Executive Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team. You will manage the financials of diverse projects, from budgeting to final accounts, ensuring value for money and profitability.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, at least 5 years' senior QS experience, and strong contract negotiation, cost control, and communication skills to support project managers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in construction.
• Strong understanding of contract negotiation and cost control.
• Knowledge of local regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor and control project costs to stay within budget.
• Prepare payment certificates and process invoices.
• Provide financial guidance to project managers and stakeholders on financial matters.
• Identify and manage risks associated with construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
