Job summary

TechnipFMC plc in Malaysia seeks a seasoned Quality/Operational Excellence professional to support the Quality Management System and drive improvements. You will develop training programs, monitor regulatory updates, and help enhance quality processes across the site.

The role requires a university degree, 8+ years in Quality or Operational Excellence, and QMS Lead Auditor credentials. You will report on system performance and collaborate across teams to elevate product and process quality.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent qualification.
• 8+ years of Quality or Operational Excellence experience.
• Track record of delivering improvements in cost, lead time, quality and efficiency.
• QMS (ISO/API) Lead Auditor certifications.
• Ability to build working relationships across the organization.
• Familiar with API Q1, API Q2, ISO 9001, ISO 29001 and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.
• Develops and coordinates induction training to raise awareness on quality processes.

Job Purpose

Assists the Department Manager in the implementation of Quality Management systems and tools improvements and developments. Develops and coordinates employees' trainings.

Job Description

• Contributes to the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System
• Develops and coordinates induction training to raise awareness on quality processes among employees of the site
• Monitors on a regular basis relevant regulations and update related management documents on time
• Recommends new quality policies or procedures to ensure high quality products, processes or services
• Carries out extensive statistical analysis and work as per the result derived from the analysis
• Ensures proper implementation of criticality rating system and surveillance for procured items
• Reports regularly regarding the system performance and new developments

You are meant for this job if:

Must have:

• University degree or equivalent qualification through experience
• 8+ years of Quality or Operational Excellence experience.
• Track record of delivering valuable business results (improvement in cost, lead time, quality and operational efficiency).
• QMS (ISO/API) Lead Auditor certifications.
• Ability to build working relationships vertically and horizontally within the organization
• Understand/ Familiar with Quality Management Systems requirements (API Q1, API Q2, ISO 9001, ISO 29001,etc).
• Working knowledge of the application of Quality Management Systems including Internal Auditing, Management of Change, Document Control, Process Development, and Industry Standards (ISO 9001, API Q1, API Q2, etc).

Nice to have:

• Work experience on Projects, Operations, or Manufacturing.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt Certificate and experience using these methodologies.
• Previous experience in Oil & Gas industry.
• Fluent in additional languages, preferably the language used within the specific geographical area.
• Work experience in HSE Management system (ISO 45001, ISO14001)
