Job summary

ASML Holding in Penang, Malaysia seeks a Quality Supplier Manager / Senior Quality Engineer to oversee the quality and operational performance of selected suppliers. You will monitor supplier quality, drive improvements, and collaborate with supplier teams to ensure material availability and process optimization.

The role requires 5–15 years in a similar field, experience with Six Sigma/lean, and strong communication and analytical skills. Travel may be required; based in Penang, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or related field.
• 5–15 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
• Experience with Six Sigma, lean, or related improvement methodologies.
• Experience in supplier relationships and supplier development.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall Quality and Technical process performance for suppliers and their n-tier suppliers.
• Monitor and drive supplier quality performance from incidents to structural improvements.
• Contribute to supplier development (SPC, lean, FMEA, operational excellence).
• Optimize manufacturing processes at suppliers by improving quality, testing and qualification infrastructure.
• Drive yield and process improvements at suppliers; participate in improvement projects.
• Analyze quality issues and drive technical solutions during material availability escalations.
• Support hardware changes at suppliers and build technical competences within ASML.
• Travel limited depending on supplier base.
