Job summary

GRID VISION T&D SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced QA/QC professional to develop and maintain quality plans, procedures and records. You will lead internal, supplier and customer audits and drive NCR, RCA and CAPA activities to ensure project quality and compliance.

The role requires 5+ years in QA/QC, strong ISO 9001 knowledge, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering and operations. Travel to project sites may be required as part of responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in QA/QC, preferably in electrical, T&D, engineering or project-based industries.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, QMS, quality planning, audit, NCR, RCA, CAPA and document control.
• Good leadership, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Willing to travel to project/ site locations when required.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor/ Lead Auditor certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality plans, procedures, checklists and quality records.
• Maintain and improve the company’s QMS in accordance with ISO 9001 and applicable requirements.
• Plan and conduct internal, supplier and customer audits.
• Manage NCR, RCA and CAPA through effective closure and verification.
• Monitor project quality activities including FAT, SAT, inspections and site quality issues.
• Conduct supplier/vendor quality evaluation and follow up on quality issues.
• Monitor quality KPI, trends and recurring issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide quality planning, coaching and guidance to QA/QC personnel and relevant departments.
• Work closely with Project, Technical, Procurement and Warehouse teams to ensure quality requirements are effectively implemented.
• Support customer and external audits and ensure timely closure of findings.
