About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior QMS Engineer to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Quality Management System (QMS) requirements supporting Altera’s automotive business, while providing quality system support for Aerospace, Defense, Government (ADG), and other regulated market initiatives.
This senior role is focused on automotive quality requirements, including AIAG core tools, FMEA methodology, calibration and measurement systems, manufacturing and final test compliance, and cross-functional quality execution. The successful candidate will serve as a key QMS subject-matter expert, translating applicable customer, regulatory, and industry requirements into practical QMS processes and operational controls.
Based in Penang, the role will collaborate closely with teams in San Jose and across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain functions to ensure automotive quality requirements are effectively deployed, maintained, and continuously improved. The position will also support the implementation and sustainment of quality requirements for ADG and other strategic business initiatives across the Asia region.
