Job summary

MISC Marine, the Integrated Marine Services arm of MISC Group, is seeking a senior Quality Assurance and HSSE leader to govern and continuously improve the Technical Services QMS and HSSE programs in Malaysia. The role focuses on governance, audits, and cross-functional collaboration with clients and regulators.

You will drive quality assurance activities, develop engineering governance, and lead remediation efforts while ensuring compliance with ISO standards and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in establishing and governing Quality Management Systems (QMS) and HSSE governance.
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and oversee internal and external audits.
• Proven track record in managing governance, reporting, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement and improve the Technical Services QMS across the organization.
• Govern the Project HSSE Management System for Technical Services projects.
• Coordinate internal quality audits, process compliance audits, and external audits.
• Monitor compliance with procedures, company requirements and standards.
• Review audit findings and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Recommend interventions or escalation when risks are identified.
• Lead and report on quality and HSSE governance performance to senior management.
