Job summary

Transpak Worldwide Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior QC Inspector / QC Technician to ensure products, processes, and services meet quality standards in a warehousing environment. The role involves inspecting materials and products per procedures, training, and supporting internal audits.

You will perform daily quality checks on calibration tools used by the QC team, assist in report accuracy during shift changes, and execute inspections at incoming, in-process, and outgoing stages using ERP/SAP

Qualifications

• Secondary education in technical field; diploma preferred.
• At least 1 year in warehousing or QC experience.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong documentation and procedure development skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily quality checks of calibration tools used by QC team.
• Assist supervisor to ensure accuracy of reports during shift changes.
• Perform incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspections per specs.
• Carry out inspections using ERP and SAP for NC crates.
• Inspect incoming raw materials, in-process crates, outbound goods as required.
• Coordinate with OPS packers, admin and logistics; liaise with external parties as needed.
• Guide new QC joiners on routine inspections per WI.
• Lead daily toolbox meetings if required.

Job description

The Senior QC Inspector / QC Technician is responsible for ensuring products, processes and services meet quality standards. This includes inspecting materials and products according to standard procedures, Work Instructions and Customer requirements, product inspection training, and assisting in audits.

Key responsibilities

Conduct daily quality checking of calibration tools use by QC team to ensure quality standards

Assist the supervisor to ensure the accuracy of the done reports by QC team during shift change

Perform routine inspections such as incoming, in-process and outgoing based on customer's specifications and drawings

Perform specific inspections using ERP

Perform incoming raw materials, in process crate inspections, outbound inspections and others as required by customer

Perform Y7 under SAP for NC crates

Coordinate and liaise with internal members such as OPS packers, admin and logistic coordinators and assist supervisor to coordinate and liaise with external parties if required

Guide new joiner QC on routine inspections based on W.I

Conduct daily toolbox meeting if required

About you

Minimum Secondary education in any technical field; Diploma will have added advantage

Minimum 1 year of experience working in a warehousing environment or minimum 1 year of QC experience in any industry

Proven experience in quality control in any industry

Ability to interpret engineering drawings

Possess documentation and procedural development skills

Able to adapt into a fast paced yet meticulous role

Able to work well with internal and external members to resolve quality issues

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Willing to work shift (morning & night)
