Job summary

Pure Genesis Sdn Bhd in Pontian, Johor, is seeking a Senior QC Engineer (Precast Manufacture) to lead the QAQC team, oversee quality management, and coordinate with Production & Logistics for post-concreting and pre-delivery inspections.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree from PE-recognized universities and at least 5 years’ QC/QA experience in precast or HDB Singapore projects, with travel to Singapore for meetings and inspections as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the QAQC team and oversee quality management and operations
• Coordinate with Production & Logistics for post-concreting and pre-delivery inspections
• Oversee precast panel inspections at post-pour and pre-delivery stages
• Liaise with engineers and RTO for scheduled or unscheduled inspections
• Maintain quality records and photos required by departments
• Coordinate with Production on quality matters and ensure compliance with QAQC procedures
• Identify defects with root-cause analysis and drive corrective actions
• Liaise with Singapore main contractors and government authorities as needed

Job description

Senior QC Engineer (Precast Manufacture)

To lead the QAQC team and oversees the quality management and operation

To comply QAQC requirement in coordinating with Production & Logistic team for post-concreting & pre-delivery inspections

To oversees the precast panel inspection at required various stages (post-pour & pre-delivery).

To liaise with Engineer & RTO for scheduled or unscheduled inspection.

To upkeep all quality records and photos required by respective departments.

To co-ordinate and assist the Production Team on quality matters.

To check the quality of cast-in items, raw materials including concrete batching & pouring as and when required by the Manager/ Engineer.

Shall involve actively in scheduled or unscheduled inspection & report work progress accordingly.

To carry out work task as assigned by Management

To ensure all employees and workers, including sub-contractors and suppliers are complied with company’s QAQC procedures

To identify problems associated with quality control and highlight to the superior

To understand the repeated defects and find the root cause and solve the issue at root

Liaise with Singapore main contractors and government authorities ie HDB, LTA etc if needed

Work towards the company’s KPI and objective

Requirements:

Degree in Civil Engineering from PE recognized universities (UM, UPM, UTM, USM, UKM)

At least 5 years’ working experience in the quality checking in Precast Industry or HDB construction project in Singapore

Good knowledge and understanding on quality control in the Singapore Construction Industry

Willing to travel to Singapore for meeting and inspection as and when needed
