Job summary

Sinar Tenaga M&E Sdn Bhd is seeking a QAQC Engineer to oversee quality across Electrical & Instrumentation installation works in Nilai/Johor/Selangor. You will drive site inspections, documentation, and non-conformity resolution in line with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards.

The role involves coordinating with consultants, clients, and contractors, submitting Inspection Test Plans, and promoting a safe, compliant site culture.

Qualifications

• Quality assurance and control of workmanship through site inspections and documentation.
• Submission of Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and related records.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, main contractors, and sub-contractors to ensure project alignment with standards.

Sinar Tenaga M&E Sdn Bhd is looking for QAQC Engineers, based in Nilai/Johor/Selangor, to ensure quality and compliance across all site activities and project execution for Electrical & Instrumentation Installation works. You will oversee inspections, documentation, and resolution of non-conformities in line with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards. Job Description:

• Ensure quality assurance and control of workmanship through site and material inspections, including preparation and submission of Inspection Test Plans.
• Conduct joint handover inspections with clients and manage the preparation and submission of site documentation.
• Attend meetings with consultants, clients, main contractors, and sub-contractors to coordinate project activities.
• Handle customer complaints, resolve reported non-conformances, and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
• Execute project implementation in accordance with customer requirements and established ISO 9001 Quality Manuals and procedures.
• Identify hazards during the design stage as per ISO 45001 and implement mitigation measures to eliminate or minimise risks.
• Promote a safe working culture by preventing unsafe behaviours during project design and execution.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, or above, related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in Electrical & Instrumentation installation work.
• Project exposure in Data Centers or Water Treatment Facilities (Advantageous)
• Must be willing to work on-site at the project location in Nilai/Johor/Selangor.

• Ability to start on short notice is an added advantage
