Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related discipline.
• Extensive (more than 20 years) experience in manufacturing quality assurance, preferably in semiconductor, electronics, or high-volume manufacturing.
• Proven leadership experience managing QA teams or department-level quality operations.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, audits, customer quality, process control, and root cause analysis.
• Strong cross-functional leadership, communication and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication skills & strong collaboration behavior with customer, product division group, GQR, R&D & internal cross functional department.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Standard Line QA and PLP QA teams, including QA HODs and senior staff.
• Define and implement the site quality strategy in alignment with business goals and customer expectations.
• Ensure quality system compliance with ISO/TS16949 & VDA, customer, internal, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive customer quality performance, including complaint resolution, excursion prevention, and customer audit readiness.
• Collaborate & communicate effectively with product group division to manage customer quality issue & crisis management.
• Oversee manufacturing quality controls such as SPC, IPC, QC gates, and defect containment & lead internal quality KPIs improvement program.
• Monitor and report quality KPIs, risks, trends, and improvement progress to senior management.
• Lead root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage incoming quality and supplier quality performance to reduce material-related risks.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of findings.
• Collaborate with NPI, APL/R&D, engineering, production, and other functions to ensure quality is built into all processes.
• Manage the FA & Rel lab to continuously upgrade the tools and engineer competency to support customer incident & NPI, APL/R&D new product development requirement.
• Develop QA team capability through coaching, training, and succession planning.
