Job summary

Ayamlikes Food Processing Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the QA team at our Senai, Johor plant. You will ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO 9001 and GMP standards across production processes.

You will collaborate with production and other departments to investigate non-conformances, drive continuous improvement, and maintain high food-safety standards for our poultry products.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Food Science/ Food Technology/ Food Chemistry/ Food Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years working experience in QA in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food industry.
• Halal Executive certification from recognized bodies is an advantage.
• Knowledge of HACCP, ISO 9001, GMP, QA systems and food safety.
• Good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage activities in the Quality Assurance Program in line with policies and procedures.
• Participate in planning and execution of strategic development projects towards continuous improvement.
• Coordinate planning, implementation and enforcement of the Quality Management System.
• Coordinate corrective and preventive actions for non-conformances with relevant departments or suppliers.
• Build good relationships with local authorities to ensure compliance with quality and food safety legislation.
• Lead and develop the QA team to ensure efficiency in work areas.
• Provide training and supervision for the QA team.
• Work with production to troubleshoot root causes for nonconforming product and prepare investigation reports.
• Maintain proper record keeping and documentation; compile documents for audits.
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as required.
