Job summary

Fantastic Food Factory Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Manager to oversee all aspects of food safety, quality systems, and regulatory compliance at our pastry and dessert manufacturing plant in Malaysia. You will lead the QA/QC team and drive continuous improvement across HACCP, GMP, Halal, ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000 programs.

The role requires 10+ years in food QA with at least 5 years in management, strong audit capabilities, and fluency in Malay and English to collaborate

Qualifications

• At least a Bachelor's degree in Food Technology/ Food Science/ Food Biology/ Food Nutrition/ Dietetics or equivalent.
• Master's in Food Technology, Food Science or Food Biology preferred.
• Experience in quality assurance, quality compliance, HACCP & GMP, FSSC or ISO 22000.
• Knowledge of GFSI schemes (e.g., BRC, SMETA) and OSH safety standards.
• 10+ years in food manufacturing QA with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Ability to converse in Malay & English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of QMS (FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP, Halal and other quality standards).
• Ensure compliance with local food laws and international regulations.
• Prepare for and lead customer’s, third-party and regulatory audits.
• Develop and implement QA strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
• Manage and mentor the QA/QC team and provide training on food safety and quality standards.
• Lead supplier audits and evaluations to ensure material quality and safety.
• Collaborate with R&D, Production, Operations and Logistics to maintain quality control across the product life cycle.
