Job summary

dtcpay is seeking a Senior Software Tester to lead quality assurance for mission-critical payment and financial systems. Own test strategy, risk assessment, test execution, and defect management to ensure functionality, security, and reliability before release.

You will drive test strategy for complex features, support automation, mentor junior QA members, and collaborate with Product, Development, and Operations to uphold quality standards in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Testing.
• Minimum 3 years in fintech, payments, financial services, or regulated tech.
• At least 1 year in senior/lead capacity guiding test strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead test strategy and planning for complex features and cross-system projects.
• Design and maintain comprehensive test cases for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Execute manual and automated tests; manage defects with evidence and impact analysis.
• Validate payment workflows including authorisation, settlement, refunds, and reconciliation.
• Drive test automation, collaborate with product and development teams, and mentor juniors.
• Monitor quality metrics and drive continuous improvement across the QA function.
