Job summary

Nexpipo is seeking a Senior Python Back-End Developer in PJ to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services. You will leverage Python, microservices, and modern backend tech to deliver robust systems across teams.

You will implement APIs, real-time features, and data models using SQL/NoSQL, with messaging via RabbitMQ or Kafka. Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform/Helm, and CI/CD will be central to delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of backend development experience with strong Python expertise.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system design principles.
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to design and develop new features and backend services.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems using Python and industry best practices.
• Translate requirements into technical specifications, architecture, and implementation approaches.
• Develop and maintain microservices-based architecture for modular, scalable systems.
• Implement APIs, integrations, and real-time components (WebSockets where applicable).
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to optimize data models and performance.
• Utilize messaging systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka for async processing.
• Manage and deploy containerized apps with Kubernetes; use IaC tools like Terraform or Helm.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and stability.
• Participate in code reviews and identify opportunities for refactoring.
