This role focuses on developing and implementing purchasing strategies to ensure cost efficiency and quality standards. Responsibilities include sourcing and negotiating with suppliers, managing Purchase Orders, and leading a purchasing team. Ideal candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in procurement with a relevant diploma or degree and must be fluent in Bahasa Malaysia. Strong knowledge of the apparel, accessories, and footwear industry is preferable.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification of a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management.
• At least 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in purchasing or procurement.
• Prior experience leading or supervising junior purchasing staff is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop purchasing strategies for cost efficiency and quality.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers for materials and items.
• Oversee Purchase Orders (POs) for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock.
• Manage purchasing budgets and support cost-saving initiatives.
• Lead and supervise the purchasing team with training.
