Job summary

Esente Advisory Sdn Bhd seeks a Senior Public Relations Executive focused on corporate communications and investor relations. You will support the Manager to drive PR initiatives, manage client accounts, and deliver communications activities to strengthen client reputation and stakeholder engagement.

The role requires strong writing, media relations, and project coordination skills, with the ability to work independently within a team and coordinate with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of PR/corporate comms/investor relations/journalism experience, preferably in an agency.
• Strong understanding of corporate PR, investor relations, and financial communications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with persuasive, concise writing.
• Good media relations network and ability to engage editors/journalists.
• Strong organisational, project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently while being a team player.
• Proficient in MS Office and digital communication tools.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Public Relations Executive to join our dynamic team, specialising in corporate communications and investor relations. In this role, you will work closely with the Manager to support client accounts, execute impactful PR initiatives, and ensure the smooth delivery of communication activities that strengthen our clients’ corporate reputation and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Manager in planning, developing, and executing corporate PR strategies for assigned clients.
• Manage day-to-day tasks for client accounts, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
• Conduct in-depth research on clients, industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform strategies.
• Draft, review, and refine press releases, speeches, Q&A briefs, corporate statements, and other PR materials.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media editors, journalists, and key stakeholders to maximise media coverage opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure quality and consistency of outputs.
• Provide input and recommendations to enhance client communications and stakeholder engagement efforts.
• Support clients in preparing for media interviews, press conferences, and investor briefings.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure smooth project workflows.
• Guide and assist junior team members in their tasks when required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, investor relations, or journalism, preferably within an agency environment.
• Strong understanding of corporate PR, investor relations practices, and financial communications.
