Job summary

MVC Resources is seeking a seasoned Project Leader in Malaysia to drive end-to-end development from concept to tender, coordinating architects, engineers, and consultants. The role requires on-site leadership across large-scale projects, tight schedule control, and liaison with local authorities.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering with 10+ years of hands-on project management experience in property development, and fluency in English and Mandarin for stakeholder engagement

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Project Delivery: oversee full lifecycle of project planning and execution to deliver on time and within budget.
• Consultant & Design Management: lead coordination with architects, engineers, and consultants from concept to tender.
• Site Execution & Timeline Control: manage on-site progress and subcontractors to maintain master schedules.
• Authority Liaison: interface with local authorities for submissions, inspections, and approvals.
• Cost & Budget Oversight: monitor costing and prepare clear management reports.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Project Delivery: Oversee and monitor the full lifecycle of project planning and execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to top quality standards.
• Consultant & Design Management: Lead cross-functional coordination with architects, engineers, and consultants from conceptual design and development through to the tender stage.
• Site Execution & Timeline Control: Drive on-site progress by managing site teams and subcontractors to eliminate delays and maintain strict master schedules.
• Authority Liaison: Deal directly with local authorities to manage statutory submissions, building inspections, and secure crucial project development approvals.
• Cost & Budget Oversight: Manage project budgets, monitor costing, and deliver clear, high-level management reports.

Requirements

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 10+ years of hands‑on project management experience within the property development industry.
• Leadership Track Record: Proven capability to lead and execute complex, large-scale property developments.
• Language Skills: Professional fluency in English and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin‑speaking stakeholders and contractors).
• Technical Proficiency: Strong MS Office, email management, and executive data presentation skills.
