MIMOS BERHAD is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex R&D/IT projects in Malaysia. The role focuses on initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing projects to achieve on-time, on-budget, and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include defining scope with stakeholders, managing schedules, budgets and risks, coordinating with finance, procurement and governance, and mentoring other PMs to raise project management standards across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or any relevant discipline.
• A master’s degree or additional certifications may be advantageous.
• Professional certification such as PMP or Prince2 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple projects to achieve scope, schedule, cost and quality targets.
• Escalate to Senior Management and mentor junior PMs; develop PM standards and processes.
• Coordinate across scope, schedule, budget, risks and communications with stakeholders.
• Ensure project closure, documentation and lessons learned are captured.
