Job summary

Michael Page Malaysia is seeking a Senior Project Manager to drive complex infrastructure projects in Kuala Lumpur. You will coordinate with architects and engineers, support budgeting and scheduling, assist in tendering and procurement, and liaise with contractors to ensure on-time delivery and compliance.

The role requires 8–12 years’ PM/construction experience, an engineering/ construction background, fluent Bahasa Malaysia and English, and the ability to travel to sites regularly.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of project management or construction experience.
• Background in engineering, construction, or project management preferred.
• Experience in office, commercial, industrial, or similar construction projects.
• Data centre experience preferred but not required.
• Strong stakeholder, contractor, and consultant management skills.
• Familiarity with design, tendering, and construction delivery processes.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Able to travel frequently to project sites.
• Must possess full Malaysian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with architects and engineers during the design phase of workplace and infrastructure projects.
• Support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder management activities.
• Assist in tender preparation, contractor evaluation, and procurement processes.
• Liaise with general contractors and project consultants throughout project delivery.
• Monitor construction progress, quality, safety, and project milestones.
• Support office fit-out and building construction activities from start to completion.
• Ensure project documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements are maintained.
• Participate in client meetings and provide project status updates.
• Manage project risks and support issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
