Job summary

Enterprise Powertech Sdn Bhd is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead and coordinate site personnel for successful project delivery. You will liaise with the Engineering Department on budgeting and pricing to ensure implementation remains within budget.

The role requires proven construction industry experience, preferably in high-rise projects, and the ability to manage costs, handle emergencies, and address safety and quality concerns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering or construction management.
• Solid experience in the construction industry, preferably with high-rise projects.
• CIDB CCPM accreditation is preferred for compliance.
• Proficient with MS Project, Word, Excel and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate with project site personnel for project success.
• Liaise with Engineering Department on budgeting and pricing to keep within budget.
• Assist and feedback on supplier pricing, evaluate supplier performance.
• Analyze and resolve issues related to project costs, emergencies, delays, and foreign worker matters.
• Ensure work follows construction plans, safety, scheduling, and cost control.
• Maintain safety practices and good housekeeping on site.
• Handle defects and complaints during handover and defect liability period.
• Coach site personnel to improve performance.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers on progress, performance, and delivery.
• Coordinate with consultants and clients to resolve issues.
• Ensure project execution adheres to CIDB requirements.

Job description

• To lead and coordinate with entire project site personnel for the successful of the project;
• To liaise closely with Engineering Department in terms of budgeting, pricing to ensure the implementation is within the budget;
• To assist and feedback to the Engineering Department in terms of supplier’s pricing, recommending the selection of supplier and evaluate their performances;
• To analyze and resolve issues related to project such as cost implication, emergencies, delay of work, foreign worker issue, and others;
• To ensure that all work carried out are in accordance to the construction plan, procedures, works instruction, project scheduling, safety compliance and cost control;
• To ensure the safety practice are always carried out and maintain a good housekeeping;
• To ensure defects and complaints during hand over and defect liability period are properly handled and controlled;
• Coach and counsel the project site personnel to enhance the work performance;
• To manage sub-contractors and supplier in terms of work progress, performance, delivery, and others;
• Liaise closely with consultants and clients to solve any issues arise;
• To ensure that the projects’ execution and workflow are in compliance with CIDB.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Civil/Structural Engineering or Construction Management
• Solid working experience in Construction industry, preferably with High Rise project(s) experience and proven track record of completing project within budget, on time and quality achievement.
• CIDB Certified Construction Project Manager (CCPM) accreditation preferred for compliance
• Computer literate in industry related software such as MS Project / Word / Excel & AutoCAD
• Possess a strong team coordination, stakeholder communication, risk management
• BOLD personality, result oriented, able to meet deadline.
• Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred to effectively communicate with China‑linked projects.
