Job summary

Infineon Technologies is seeking a Senior Project Leader to join its Corporate Functions team in a role that ensures efficient processes, clear communication, and reliable support for the business.

The candidate will lead cross-functional teams, manage the full project lifecycle, and drive quality, cost, and schedule targets while using Infineon methodologies and tools.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related fields.
• PMI PMP certification is preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience, including at least 2 years of project leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and control projects or sub-projects of minor complexity, including managing project scope, risks, resources, and deliverables.
• Lead cross-functional project teams and oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring successful handover to sustaining functions.
• Coordinate project activities and resources to ensure the timely achievement of project milestones.
• Take full responsibility for operational decisions and the achievement of project objectives related to timeline, quality, cost, and budget.
• Serve as the primary communication interface for project-related matters, representing Back End functions to internal stakeholders and divisions.
• Form, lead, and assign responsibilities to project managers of sub-projects and project team members.
• Utilize Infineon project management tools for project planning, progress tracking, reporting, and documentation.
• Drive problem-solving activities using standard Infineon methodologies, including 8D and 5 Whys.
• Monitor project quality and progress, ensuring project goals are achieved despite challenges.
• Identify, manage, and implement project changes while adapting project approaches as required.

Your profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, including Semiconductor Technology, Microelectronics, Automation, Mechanical, Electrical, Physics, or related fields.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience, including at least 2 years of project leadership experience.
• Solid knowledge of project management, including project initiation, planning, execution, closure, reporting, and documentation.
• Ability to lead teams in resolving issues using structured methodologies such as 8D, Is/Is Not, and FMEA.
• Good understanding of semiconductor engineering and manufacturing operations.
• Strong communication, collaboration, people management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
