Job summary

DayOne Data Centers in Malaysia seeks a Senior Treasury Financing Specialist to support the Country Treasury Manager with financing documentation, KYC, and compliance administration. This on-site role requires strong organization and attention to detail to power large financing facilities.

You will coordinate with Finance, Projects, and Legal teams, prepare drawdown and rollover notices, maintain the document repository, and track CP/CS and lender requests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
• 5 years or more of relevant experience in corporate treasury, corporate/wholesale banking, transaction banking, or audit.
• Working knowledge of loan documentation, security documentation, and the BNM regulatory framework.
• Good Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English; working Mandarin is an advantage.
• Exposure to syndicated, project, or sustainability-linked financing, or familiarity with Islamic finance principles, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal and external stakeholders for each project financing exercise.
• Prepare drawdown notices, rollover notices, utilisation requests, and supporting schedules for review.
• Draft and manage correspondence with bankers, lawyers, and valuers under direction.
• Maintain the financing document repository and ensure retrievable copies and side letters.
• Coordinate with valuers, surveyors, and consultants for valuations to support financing and loan reviews.
• Compile periodic lender requests and supporting invoices, certifications, and sign-offs for drawdowns.
• First-level oversight of CP/CS trackers and monthly loan reports; escalate deadlines at risk.
