Job summary

Industrial Water Engineers (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking Senior/Project Engineers to oversee water and wastewater projects from planning through execution. You will manage projects, coordinate with clients and stakeholders, and ensure delivery within budget and schedule.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or Science, with 2+ years of site/project experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MS Office is expected, and travel to project sites locally and internationally is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science is required, master preferred.
2+ years of site/project experience in execution, preferably in process water and wastewater.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with proactive, goal-driven attitude.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MS Office.
Willingness to travel locally and internationally for projects (1–3 weeks).
Fluent in English and Malay; Chinese communication is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage multiple engineering projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
Oversee all technical aspects of project implementation including mechanical, electrical, control systems, and chemical/biological processes.
Serve as primary client contact, interpreting needs and ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor project performance including budget, schedule, and team productivity; report progress to management.
Supervise subcontractors and ensure compliance with timelines and specifications.
Facilitate technical discussions and implement corrective actions when needed.
Collaborate across departments to support problem-solving and continuous improvement.
