Job summary

Bolt Industries Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a senior project engineer/manager to lead planning, budgeting, and execution across multiple projects. You will own major engagement with consultants, contractors, authorities, and clients to resolve issues and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will direct procurement strategy, technical evaluations, and vendor coordination, and have final sign-off authority on drawings and variation orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Renewable Energy, or related Engineering discipline.
• At least 6–10 years' project engineering/management experience, with exposure to solar/renewable energy/LSS.
• Proven track record leading projects from planning through commissioning and handover.
• Authority signing off on drawings, technical submissions, and variation orders.
• Registrations/certifications such as ST, SEDA GCPV, CIDB/PE Electrical are preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution across multiple concurrent projects.
• Engage with consultants, contractors, authorities, and clients to resolve issues and ensure compliance.
• Direct procurement strategy, evaluations, and vendor coordination.
• Oversee risk mitigation, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Prepare and sign off drawings, schematics, and engineering documents.
• Mentor junior project engineers and present progress to management and clients.
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Travel domestically and internationally as project needs require.
