Job summary

SEAGULL COOLING TECHNOLOGIES (Asia Pacific) Sdn Bhd seeks a dedicated project leader to manage scope, schedule, cost, and delivery across regional clients and vendors. You will develop detailed plans, monitor milestones, and prepare comprehensive reports to ensure on-time, on-budget project completion.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in engineering or management, with 3+ years ofproject experience, and strong English/Mandarin communication. PMP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Management.
• PMP certification or relevant is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Proven track record of managing and delivering projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project and MS Office.
• Ability to lead, decisions, and resolve conflicts.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope and schedule by studying specifications, customer requirements, and performance standards.
• Estimate cost, manage and implement within budget; prepare Actual Costing Sheet.
• Prepare Gantt charts and track project milestones; monitor progress.
• Process Purchase Requisitions to factories/sub-vendors for procurement.
• Drive overall project planning and tracking to achieve business outcomes.
• Prepare project status reports and weekly/monthly progress updates.
• Coordinate Kick-off Meetings with Client/Vendor/Factory to resolve issues.
• Maintain cross-functional communication to drive initiatives and improvements.
• Identify project risks, record non-conformities, and develop mitigation plans.

Job description

In charge of Projects’ Revenue Recognition and Cashflow.

Define project scope, schedule by studying the required project specification, customer requirements and performance standards.

Estimate project cost, manage, and implement the project within the budgeted cost. Prepare Actual Costing Sheet to identify project actual financial status.

Prepare project Gantt chart to track and carry out close monitoring and control of the project.

Prepare Purchase Requisition to be issued to Factory/Sub-vendors for procurement.

To drive overall project planning and tracking of milestones of the project to achieve the desired business outcomes.

Prepare project status reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing the information, data and results.

Prepare weekly/biweekly/ monthly progress report according to project requirement.

Hosting Kick of Meeting and other related meeting with Client /Vendor/ Factory to solve the issue of the Project.

To perform all the necessary works for the purpose of client acceptance.

Maintains continual communications with all the project team members, work cross-functionally throughout the organization to drive initiatives

To prepare and compile a complete project document.

Provide timely update to superior.

Participating in ad-hoc request.

To identify risk of the project, record & prepare non-conformity report (Change Note), project closing and improvement plans. Conduct lesson learnt meeting with relevant departments.

Job Requirement

Candidate in bachelor’s degree of any Engineering Field or Management Field.

PMP Certified or relevant is a plus.

Minimum 3 years a of relevant engineering working experience .

Practical and proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects.

Ability to manipulate Microsoft Project or any other Microsoft applications.

Ability to motivate and guide a team, make decisions, and resolve conflicts.

Analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with decision making ability.

Effective planning and scheduling to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.

Ability to manage project budgets, allocate resources effectively, and optimize resource utilization. Ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards and specifications.

Identifying potential risks, developing mitigation strategies, and adapting to unexpected challenges.

Being flexible and adaptable to changes in project scope, schedule, or resources.

Able to speak & write & listen in English and Mandarin

Ability to clearly communicate high level strategy and technical details effectively across disciplines, locations, and organizations, including to senior leadership and stakeholders.
