Jobstreet Malaysia is looking for a construction coordinator to oversee civil, structural, marine, mechanical and electrical activities against drawings, specs and programme. You will coordinate subcontractors, site teams, consultants and stakeholders to deliver on schedule.
Responsibilities include reviewing IFC drawings, RFIs, coordinating ITPs, NCRs, punch-lists, and ensuring HSE compliance, documentation, and handover readiness across all work fronts.
Coordinate and monitor overall civil, structural, marine, mechanical and electrical construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and project programme.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, site teams, consultants, surveyors and relevant project stakeholders across all work fronts.
Monitor FSPV, anchoring, marine, earthworks, Plant Interconnection Facility, BESS and grid interconnection works.
Review IFC drawings, method statements and RFIs, and coordinate technical and constructability issues with the Engineering team.
Monitor construction progress, productivity, work quantities, system completion and two-week lookahead activities.
Coordinate inspections, testing, ITP requirements, test packs, NCR and punch-list closure with the QA/QC team.
Maintain accurate construction, inspection, testing, progress, as-built and handover documentation.
Ensure compliance with project HSE, permit-to-work, environmental, electrical isolation/LOTO and marine safety requirements.
Identify construction risks, delays and technical issues, and recommend appropriate corrective and recovery actions.
Support commissioning, completion and handover activities to ensure project milestones are achieved safely and on schedule.
