Qualifications

• 8-10 years of working experience in financial analysis and project cost control/project management.
• Strong knowledge of financial modelling, project finance, and performance management.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
• In-depth understanding of industry-specific financial challenges, including project risks, cost recovery, and regulatory compliance.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field; professional qualifications such as ACCA, ICAEW, MICPA, CPA, CIMA, or BEM are an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial and management reports in accordance with standards and policies.
• Assess the impact of new accounting standards and regulatory requirements and support policy changes.
• Coordinate adoption of new accounting policies aligned with MFRS/IFRS requirements.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance of financial information for statutory and group reporting.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities with timely reporting.
• Prepare FPS financial reports and supporting schedules with financial analysis.
• Review accounting entries, trial balances, intercompany balances, and post-closing adjustments.
• Coordinate with FSSC and stakeholders for smooth period-end closing.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of reporting.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support management decision-making.
