Job summary

Airswift is seeking a highly skilled Tooling Engineer in Malaysia to lead progressive tooling, die work, and precision machining across molds, dies and tooling components. You will oversee CNC milling, EDM and grinding operations, ensure micrometer accuracy, and uphold ISO quality standards.

Qualifications

• Requires Diploma/Degree in mechanical or precision engineering.
• Hands-on tooling experience with progressive dies and tooling.
• Strong CNC milling and EDM experience, with tight tolerances.
• Familiarity with precision measurement and GD&T.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and tooling specs.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and machine progressive press tools and tooling components.
• Machine components for moulding, forging and die-casting tools.
• Perform precision machining of complex profiles and tight tolerances.
• Oversee CNC machining, EDM and grinding activities as needed.
• Carry out tooling maintenance, repairs and part replacements.
• Ensure dimensional inspection and ISO quality compliance.
• Provide technical support to engineering and production teams.
• Train toolmakers, apprentices and junior staff.
