Job summary

Flex is seeking a Senior Program Administrator in Prai, Penang. You will support teams that design and deliver products, coordinating multi-department efforts to keep programs on schedule and within budget.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with about 7 years in manufacturing, and involves travel, reporting, and driving process improvements within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a manufacturing or related field.
• 7 years of experience in a manufacturing or related industry.
• Demonstrates advanced functional, technical and people/process management skills.
• Demonstrates customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Review program proposals or plans to define timeframe and resources.
• Outline work plans, assign duties, and resolve problems with managers.
• Coordinate projects with Customer Focus Team to ensure schedule and budget.
• Prepare program reports and executive presentations.
• Assist in metric development and tracking for the program.
• Occasional travel to customer locations.
• Drive continuous improvement impacting timeline, cost or production.
• Follow up on shipments to meet site and customer guarantees.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Senior Program Administrator located in Prai, Penang.

What a typical day looks like:

• Assist in the review of program proposals or plans to define time frame, procedures for accomplishing program, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of program.
• Confers with appropriate managers within Program Management, Operations and others to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority, and to receive technical advice and resolve problems.
• Drives and coordinates projects/activities with the Customer Focus Team (CFT) members to ensure program progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget, including facilitating the work/communication across different departments.
• Prepares program reports and executive presentations for management, client, or others.
• May assist in metric development and tracking for the program.
• Occasional travel to customer locations.
• Drive the team to look for continuous improvement activities that have an impact in the project timeline, cost or daily production activities.
• Follow up on shipments to ensure we meet site and customer guarantees without any delay and coordinate the team to any issue that could generate an impact.
  

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in addition to 7 years of experience in a manufacturing or related Industry.
• Demonstrates advanced functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
• Demonstrates advanced skills in functional/technical area.
