Job summary

Flex in Prai, Penang, seeks a Production Planning Manager to coordinate and optimize the flow of work and materials per the production schedule. You will lead forecasting, master scheduling, and material planning to align with plant capacity and company goals.

The role requires a bachelor degree with 10+ years in production control, preferably with electronics manufacturing experience; a master's is a plus and international travel may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Masters degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive responsibility in production control and planning or related area, including supervision.
• Background in electronics manufacturing is desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production forecast based on master plan, timelines and material needs.
• Adjust plans to meet changes in demand and communicate updates to relevant teams.
• Produce revenue investigations and the annual operating plan (AOP) and other forecast reports.
• Lead Master Scheduling, Production Planning/Coordination, Shop Scheduling and Dispatching.
• Develop material planning models to ensure proper material planning and optimal inventories.
• Interface with customers and purchasing to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve issues.
• Travel as necessary.
