Job summary

Flex seeks a senior leader to direct material planning strategy in Prai, Penang, balancing supply and demand for key customer programs. You will build and deploy planning models, partner with senior management, and drive continuous improvements in inventory targets and service levels.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with at least 12 years in materials management, with strong cross-functional and forecasting skills, and the ability to lead a diverse team across global sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum 12 years experience in materials management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the team to deploy material planning models and optimize inventory for customer programs.
• Meet with Senior Management to obtain strategic information that could impact the forecast and adjust the forecast accordingly.
• Review issues and make recommendations on long-term constraints, service levels, inventory targets, and backlog.
• Direct a Demand Plan using information from Global Account/Management and trend evaluation.
• Hold cross-functional meetings to review Supply and Demand draft plans.
• Manage and mentor a team and drive continuous development and performance.
