Job summary

Flextronics - The Flex Company in Prai, Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a Planner Scheduler to support materials and production. You will plan, schedule, and release production in the planning system based on material and capacity availability.

The role involves coordinating with SCM and order desks, monitoring plans, generating reports, and ensuring on-time delivery for customer programs. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Demonstrates basic people and/or process management skills.

Responsibilities

• Check resource availability and confirm order feasibility.
• Prepare production plans and input data into the planning system.
• Monitor plan execution and take action on deviations.
• Prepare long-term plans and forecasts (MPS, Forecast).
• Monitor system accuracy (routing, BOM, CFT data) and replanning as needed.
• Generate reports and monitor KPI's for management and CFT.
• Assist SCM and Order desk in priority setting and scheduling.
