Job summary

Brooks Automation in Johor Bahru seeks a Senior Production Planner to optimize production schedules across our new manufacturing facility. You will oversee planning, scheduling, and material movement to meet delivery targets while managing inventory and capacity constraints.

The role requires a solid background in manufacturing, preferably in semiconductors, with strong analytical skills, ERP experience, and a drive for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing, or related field (6+ years in manufacturing, ideally semiconductor).
• Strong understanding of production planning and scheduling processes.
• Experience with Oracle ERP is a plus.
• Proficient in production planning software/tools and data analysis.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and continuous improvement mindset.
• Good collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Review MRP and planning systems to ensure timely production.
• Attend SIOP and R&O meetings for product lines.
• Create and release production orders with capacity awareness.
• Identify root causes of late deliveries and drive improvements.
• Monitor inventory levels to minimize excess while ensuring supply.
• Schedule production orders to optimize manufacturing sequences.
