Brooks Automation in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, is seeking a Senior/Material Planner to ensure smooth material flow and support production schedules. This onsite role requires coordinating with suppliers, production teams, and overseas manufacturers to optimize inventory and meet delivery dates.

You will drive planning processes, review demand vs. supply, and mitigate shortages while maintaining CTB. English proficiency and ERP experience are essential for success.

Formación

• Degree or Diploma in Operations, Materials, Business or equivalent with 6-8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems and inventory management practices.
• Familiarity with planning, costing and materials.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access).
• English fluency (spoken & written).
• Experience with Oracle Cloud or SAP ERP.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and manage material planning processes to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
• Review weekly demand vs. supply plan for intercompany and direct customer orders.
• Coordinate with suppliers, procurement, and production teams to align material supply with production schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust planning strategies to minimize excess stock and prevent shortages.
• Analyze material usage trends and forecast future requirements to support production goals.
• Resolve material-related issues to maintain production continuity and on-time PROD schedules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes and drive improvements.
• Establish relationships with overseas contract manufacturers to prioritize orders and manage expedite requests.
