Job summary

GENIC TECHNOLOGY (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Production Planner & Operations Executive to plan and schedule production to meet customer orders while optimizing machine capacity, manpower, and inventory.

The role involves coordinating with Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Production to ensure material availability and timely delivery. The candidate will monitor production performance, drive continuous improvement, and manage KPIs such as OTIF, efficiency, and lead times, while supporting

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline.
5+ years of relevant experience in production planning and material planning within manufacturing.
Experience in high-volume and make-to-order environments is preferred.
ERP/MRP experience with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, Epicor or similar systems.
Strong Excel skills (PivotTables, formulas) and familiarity with Power BI or analytics tools.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Production to ensure material availability.
Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to meet delivery commitments.
Generate and review KPIs: OTIF, Production Efficiency, Schedule Adherence, Utilization.
Prepare and manage Job Travellers and ensure accurate production records.
