Job summary

Lam Research in Kulim, Kedah is seeking a Master Scheduler to plan, schedule, and coordinate production activities across the complete production cycle. You’ll work from engineering plans and production specifications to establish schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements, ensuring materials align with timelines.

You’ll collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics, monitor performance, adjust schedules due to changes, and maintain inventory levels to support on-time

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in production planning or a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, coordinate and/or monitor final approval of products through the complete production cycle.
• Establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements from engineering plans and production specifications.
• Coordinate production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules.
• Provide input to management; schedule and/or interface with marketing, sales, production and engineering managers.
• Resolve labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions.
• Oversee master schedules and ensure compliance with materials requirements for manufacturing.
• Monitor and adjust schedules due to design changes, shortages, backlogs or interruptions.
• Maintain and manage inventory levels to ensure availability of materials for production.
• Create and submit status and performance reports, analyzing data on production progress.
• Collaborate with quality control, warehouse, and other staff to maintain high standards.
