Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corporation is seeking an experienced engineer to drive yield enhancement and manufacturing quality across the product lifecycle. You will lead root-cause analysis, collaborate with test, assembly, quality and OSAT teams, and ensure efficient production flow while implementing sustaining activities.

The role involves qualifying new products, tester platform migration, and contributing to margin improvement initiatives in a global semiconductor setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing, preferably test/product engineering.
• Solid understanding of analog/digital/power products, failure analysis and RCA.
• Experience with statistical tools such as JMP and Spotfire.
• Strong communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review low-yield production lots and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with test engineering, assembly, quality, and OSAT to resolve issues.
• Carry out sustaining activities to improve yields and delivery fulfillment.
• Qualify and validate new products and tester platforms; migrate platforms.
• Support gross margin improvement initiatives and system integration.
