Fintech News in Malaysia seeks a Senior Product Manager to drive payments growth and expansion by delivering new payment capabilities to market through corridors and partners.

You will own merchant‑driven use cases, remittance, and cross‑border payments end to end, accountable for growth in customers, volume, and revenue while managing risk.

Collaborating with Risk, Compliance, Fraud, Operations, Finance, Design and Engineering, you will ensure scalable controls and a smooth customer experience.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years in product management with payments exposure.
• Experience shipping payment products for retail and business.
• Strong understanding of rails, settlement, refunds, disputes, and risk controls.
• Proven ability to drive growth metrics (acquisition, volume, revenue).

Responsibilities

• Own the payments expansion roadmap across merchant use cases, remittance, and cross-border payments.
• Identify high impact use cases, define customer value, and deliver fast, clear end-to-end experiences.
• Define partner strategy and lead end-to-end partner selection, onboarding, and performance management.
• Lead commercials and contracting, including pricing models, unit economics, incentives, and governance.
• Drive scheme and network requirements, ensuring readiness across compliance and operations.
• Design and operate the operating model, including settlement, reconciliation, refunds, disputes, and handling.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Fraud, Operations, Finance, Design and Engineering to maintain scalable controls.
• Build business cases and delivery plans for new corridors and partners with clear launch criteria.
• Drive growth cadence, improve conversion and revenue via product, pricing, and partner levers.
• Define UX standards and guardrails to reduce friction and failed transactions.
