Job summary

Synergy Staffing Malaysia is seeking an experienced Engineering professional with a Bachelor's in Engineering and 6+ years in product or process engineering within manufacturing or R&D. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in product engineering, process engineering, or a related role within a manufacturing or R&D environment.
• Demonstrated experience in product quality and yield analysis, identifying root causes of defects and implementing corrective actions.
• Proficiency in performing basic data analysis to interpret test results, production data, and customer feedback.
• Proven ability to manage product qualification processes, ensuring products meet specifications and customer requirements.
• Experience with test program updates and validation, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of testing procedures.
• Skilled in customer return containment, including investigation, analysis, and implementation of solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to diverse audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a systematic approach to identifying and resolving engineering challenges.
• Demonstrated project leadership capabilities, managing engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with cross-functional departments.
• High degree of flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving work environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to define product specifications and ensure successful product development lifecycles.
• Participate in the design, development, and testing of new products, ensuring they meet performance, quality, and cost targets.
• Conduct basic data analysis to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for product improvement.
• Support product qualification processes, including the development and execution of test plans and procedures.
• Assist in updating and validating test programs to ensure accuracy and efficiency in product testing.
• Contribute to customer return containment efforts by investigating issues, implementing corrective actions, and preventing recurrence.
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to address production challenges and improve product yield.
• Document engineering processes, test results, and product specifications, maintaining clear and organized records.
• Provide technical support to internal teams and potentially external customers regarding product functionality and performance.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to contribute innovative ideas for product enhancement.
