Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Engineer to oversee product quality, yield analysis, and root-cause investigations in a manufacturing or R&D setting. You will drive product qualification processes, validate test programs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure specifications and customer requirements are met.

The role requires strong data analysis, problem‑solving, and project leadership with fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 6 years in product/process engineering in manufacturing or R&D.
• Experience with product quality and yield analysis and root-cause actions.
• Ability to analyze production data and customer feedback.
• Manage product qualification processes to meet specs and customer needs.
• Update and validate test programs for accurate testing procedures.
• Conduct and improve customer return containment investigations.
• Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication, both written and verbal.
• Problem solving with a methodical approach; project leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and QA to define specs and lifecycle requirements.
• Participate in design, development, and testing of new products against targets.
• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Support qualification efforts with test plans and procedures.
• Update test programs to ensure testing accuracy and efficiency.
• Lead containment investigations and implement preventive actions.
• Work with manufacturing to address yield and production challenges.
• Document processes, test results, and specifications clearly.
• Provide technical support to internal teams and customers as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies for product enhancement.
