Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in consumer products, retail, merchandising, sourcing, or product development.
• Diploma or Degree in any field; relevant experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze market trends to identify new product opportunities.
• Monitor consumer preferences, pricing, and industry developments to support product strategies.
• Identify new product concepts, materials, and sourcing opportunities based on market trends.
• Lead the development of new products from concept through to final product.
• Work with suppliers and internal teams to develop, refine, and improve products.
• Attend local and international trade fairs to source ideas and suppliers.
• Evaluate samples and provide recommendations on design, materials, colors, packaging, and cost.
• Prepare mood boards, concepts, presentations, and proposals.
• Manage product development timelines to meet schedules.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and explore new sourcing opportunities.
• Conduct market visits to stay updated on trends and innovations.
• Provide insights to management on potential new products and opportunities.
