Job summary
TG Malaysia is seeking a Product Development Assist. Manager to lead end-to-end product development for engineered products, systems, and proprietary technologies—from concept development to commercialization and lifecycle improvement.
This role drives new product innovation, engineering design, product certification, manufacturing readiness, and continuous product enhancement aligned with TG Malaysia's global market expansion.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Mechatronics or related engineering field.
- 5–10 years in Product Development or Engineering Design in industrial equipment or manufacturing.
- Preference for Oil & Gas, Cryogenic, process equipment backgrounds.
- Proven full lifecycle development and commercialization experience.
- Strong CE/ASME/PED exposure and NoBo coordination.
- Prototype development, testing, and manufacturing scaling experience.
- CAD/PLM/ERP tooling experience including Siemens/Allen-Bradley PLCs.
Responsibilities
- Lead Product Development & Engineering Design Lifecycle management from concept to commercialization.
- Oversee Prototype Development, Testing & Commercialization readiness.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance, Certification & NoBo coordination.
- Manage CAD Systems, PDM & PLM data management.
- Provide PLC programming & automation support.
- Lead Customer Application Engineering & Product customization.
- Support Commercial enablement & technical training.
- Align with Manufacturing for production readiness and ERP data.
- Drive Product Lifecycle Management and continuous improvement.
