dtcpay, a MAS licensed payment service provider, is hiring a Product Designer in Kuala Lumpur. You will create cohesive product experiences, leveraging AI tools to explore directions and bring ideas to life.

Elevate aesthetics with typography, color, spacing, and composition; shape a distinctive visual language; build design systems and reusable components; collaborate with engineers to ship high-quality visuals.

Formación

• 3–10 years of relevant experience in product, UI, or visual design.
• Portfolio of visually compelling, carefully executed work.
• Foundation in UX, interaction design, prototyping, and usability.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools to create high-quality visual work.
• Willingness to learn AI tools and adapt workflows as we move toward AI-assisted design.

We're looking for a well-rounded Product Designer with exceptional visual craft, strong aesthetic judgment, and a distinctive design sensibility. Your primary focus will be creating beautiful, cohesive product experiences, using AI tools to explore creative directions and bring ideas to life.

What You'll Do

• Elevate product aesthetics: Create polished interfaces with exceptional typography, composition, colour, spacing, and attention to detail.
• Shape visual direction: Develop a distinctive visual language that connects brand identity with the product experience.
• Create with AI: Use AI tools to explore design concepts and generate imagery, illustrations, and visual assets, refining outputs to meet a high standard of quality.
• Design engaging experiences: Combine thoughtful interaction, motion, and visual storytelling to make complex workflows feel intuitive.
• Build visual consistency: Develop design systems, reusable components, and guidelines that preserve quality across the product.
• Carry designs through to launch: Collaborate with engineers to ensure the final experience reflects the intended visual quality.

What We're Looking For

• 3-10 years of relevant experience in product, UI, or visual design. Job level ranges from Mid-level to Senior or Lead, depending on craft, ownership, and leadership ability.
• Outstanding visual design skills, demonstrated through a portfolio of aesthetically compelling, carefully executed work.
• Strong command of typography, layout, color theory, visual hierarchy, and composition.
• Ability to translate brand personality into a cohesive and expressive product design language.
• A well-rounded foundation in UX, interaction design, prototyping, and usability.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted tools to create high-quality visual work, with the judgment to select, refine, and integrate generated content.
• Willingness to learn and adapt: Enthusiasm for exploring new AI tools and changing workflows as we transition toward AI-assisted design.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to explain visual decisions clearly.

Preferred Background

• Experience designing AI products or orchestration workflows.
• Familiarity with motion design, AI-generated video, and interactive website experiences.
• Experience collaborating with well-known brands or established companies.
