Job summary

Businesslist is seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer to craft intuitive, visually engaging experiences across websites and digital applications. You will produce wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs while collaborating with Product Managers and Developers to deliver strong design outcomes.

The role demands deep knowledge of user research, accessibility, and responsive design, with a focus on AI-enabled tooling to streamline workflows and product experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UX/UI, Digital, or Product Design experience.
• Strong portfolio across websites, applications and digital products.
• Strong visual design skills including layout, typography, interaction and usability.
• Experience applying user research to inform design decisions.
• Experience creating and maintaining design systems and reusable component libraries.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and related prototyping tools.
• Ability to clearly communicate design rationale to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Collaborative experience with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using AI-powered tools to improve efficiency and output.

Responsibilities

Job description

This role is suited to someone with strong UX and UI capabilities who can confidently explain the rationale behind their work, gather requirements from stakeholders, and translate complex challenges into simple, effective solutions.
You'll also contribute to the evolution of our design system, helping to maintain consistency across our products while identifying opportunities to improve the user experience, support business objectives, and streamline ways of working through AI-powered tools.

The Successful Applicant

• 5+ years' experience in UX/UI, Digital, or Product Design.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating website, application, and digital product design projects.
• Strong visual design skills and a clear understanding of layout, typography, interaction, and usability principles.
• Experience applying user research and insight to inform design decisions.
• Experience creating and maintaining design systems and reusable component libraries.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and related design and prototyping tools.
• Ability to communicate design rationale clearly and confidently to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using AI-powered tools to improve efficiency, quality, and output.

• Experience working alongside Product and Development teams.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end development principles.
• Experience with analytics, user testing, or conversion optimisation.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
• Experience designing for both web and mobile applications.
